We have sailed from Trinidad to Newfoundland and out to Bermuda, first on Romarin then on Spaceship Earth.
We have gone aground on sandy shallows, broken our mast and scarfed in a splice, and
sailed 3000 miles with no engine in and out of harbors in the West Indies.
We rode out hurricanes at anchor and dodged storms with our old GPS.
Our book ISLAND LIFE was inspired by these adventures.
We flew to Tahiti to take a tramp steamer through the Marquesa and Tuamotu Islands
to document our book WEST OF WISDOM, a South Pacific adventure.
We booked a two month voyage around South American with a passage through the Straights of Magellan to
get a feel for the Southern Seas.
With every sunny day we have wished you could be out there with us but on stormy nights
hoped that you were safetly back at home. Here's health and happiness in the life you choose to live.
