This is not how to end a war, it is instead how to avoid starting a war.
Most wars are started by Demagogues who lie to excite the people to fear.

Who started the invasion of Iraq in 2003?

Chaney invited a New York Times reporter to his office.
He suggested he had heard that Iraq was importing Nuclear material from Africa.
He said if you publish this, don't mention me.

When the paper was published, someone asked Chaney about the article and he said,
The New York Times only publishes well founded news.

Bush ordered the pentagon to invade Iraq.

After the troops had pulled down the Hussein statue, Bush sent Paul Bremer
to Iraq with instructions to "take over."

Bremer was inexperienced.

He did not know the three elements that provide peace:

A stable government;

A working judiciary system with police protection,

And property rights for the people.

Bremer accused the existing legislators of being terrorists and thus wiped out all existing local government.

Bremer then accused the Hussein color guard of being terrorists and instructed them to turn in their weapons.
The soldiers evaporated and the country was left with no police force.

Property rights were not respected and chaos reigned.

Chaney should be sentenced for lying to the public to excite fear to get approval to start a war and invade Iraq.

Bush should be condemned for ordering the invasion without investigating Chaney's allegations.
Then further chastised for sending a man with little or no foreign experience to "take over".

Bremer should be made to apologize for his politically erroneous actions that sent Iraq into chaos.

With no government and no police protection, the IRAQ people began stealing goods and property to survive.
Chaos reined,

U.S. troops tried to stop the thieving and bloodshed.

5000 troops died in the effort and now, 12 years later, Iraq is still involved in an internal war that could have been avoided.

Change our motto from THE WAR ON TERROR

to THE SEARCH FOR PEACE.
